Durable aluminium safety stair nosing designed for indoor stairs, platforms and landings. The profile features a 60 mm wide tread surface with replaceable PVC inserts, providing enhanced slip resistance, stair-edge visibility and long-term protection.

The 33700 Aluminium Stair Nosing Profile is a robust safety solution designed to protect stair edges while improving grip and visual definition of individual steps.
Manufactured from high-quality EN AW-6060 aluminium, the profile has a total width of 60 mm, height of 18.7 mm and an internal dimension of 13 mm, making it suitable for installation on a variety of indoor stair constructions.
The profile is designed to accommodate replaceable PVC inserts, available in smooth or ribbed versions and in a choice of 10 colours. This allows contrasting colours to be used to make the edge of each stair more clearly identifiable while providing a replaceable walking surface.
Profile 33700 is suitable for wood and stone stairs as well as stages, platforms and landings, and is recommended for indoor applications.
The aluminium construction is classified as A1 non-combustible. The profile is supplied with countersunk fixing holes and can be mechanically secured using Ø3.5 mm screws. The manufacturer's installation instructions also permit fixing by screws and/or bonding with a suitable adhesive onto a load-bearing substrate.

Profile 33700 is suitable for applications such as:
The stair nosing should be installed onto a stable/load-bearing substrate.
Installation can be carried out by screwing and/or bonding with a suitable adhesive. The profile is installed after the floor covering has been laid.
For mechanical installation, the profile includes countersunk fixing holes designed for Ø3.5 mm screws, with holes positioned at approximately 166 mm centres.
Once installed, the selected PVC insert provides the finished walking surface and can subsequently be replaced without replacing the complete aluminium profile.
