The Tactile Map M is a fully customized 3D tactile orientation map designed to help blind and visually impaired users understand the layout of a building or surrounding space and navigate it more independently.
Combining raised tactile graphics, Braille, raised lettering and high-contrast visual information, the map creates an accessible representation of the environment that can be explored both visually and by touch.
With dimensions of 80 × 60 cm, Map M is designed primarily for medium-sized buildings between 1,000 and 3,000 m². It can also be used as a supplementary floor map within larger and more complex buildings.
The versatile design allows the map to be supplied as either a wall-mounted or freestanding solution, depending on the requirements of the project.
Tactile Map M provides users with an accessible overview of the surrounding environment, helping them understand the relationship between entrances, corridors, rooms, staircases, elevators, accessible routes and other important destinations.
By providing clear visual and tactile landmarks, the map can help users develop a mental representation of the space, supporting greater independence and confidence when navigating unfamiliar environments.

Depending on the project, Tactile Map M can be installed directly onto a wall or supplied as a freestanding tactile map.

The layout, tactile graphics, Braille information, raised lettering, colors, visual graphics and points of interest can be customized to create an accessible representation of the actual environment.
