Aluminium stair nosing designed for integrated indirect LED lighting, combining illuminated stair-edge definition with anti-slip grooves on the tread surface. The 60 × 45 mm profile is designed for indoor stairs and podiums and is available in multiple anodized finishes or custom RAL powder-coated colours.
Ideal for architectural, commercial and interior projects where stair safety and integrated lighting are required.
The 33890 Aluminium LED Stair Nosing Profile combines stair-edge protection, integrated indirect lighting and a grooved walking surface within a single architectural profile.
Manufactured from EN AW-6060 aluminium, the profile measures 60 mm wide × 45 mm high and incorporates a dedicated channel for the installation of an LED lighting system. The profile directs the LED light downward from the front of the stair edge, creating indirect illumination rather than exposing the LED strip directly.
The upper surface incorporates anti-slip grooves, providing additional surface texture at the stair edge. The profile is countersunk drilled and designed primarily for mechanical screw fixing.
Küberit specifies Profile 890 for stairs and podiums inside buildings, with the associated flooring intended to be fully bonded. Compatible LED accessories are offered separately by the manufacturer.
In addition to standard anodized finishes, Profile 33890 can be manufactured with custom RAL powder coating in matt, semi-matt or high-gloss finishes, subject to minimum quantities and technical feasibility.
